If yes, fill with wood filler. Wood putty comes in a few different colors. You want orange.

After it is completely dry, sand smooth.

You may need to add more wood filler, if still have a few Divots. (Then again, sand.)

Application of color-stained oak. Let stand, one or two minutes and wipe with a cloth.

If you imitate the wood grain of the repair, then apply for more wood stain with a brush streaks. Chill and clean again.

You can find a wood filler and coloring in most hardware stores and renovation.
