Reptile Sanctuary Starting A Shelter; Advice Needed?

Starting a shelter; advice needed? - reptile sanctuary

I juggled with the idea of running a day-or co-leadership of my own animal shelter. This may or may not clearly pitbull a haven for birds, reptiles, and above all a protection, but I would consider an animal they can.

I have some questions. I am a 19-year-old exchange student living in the Midwest, with some experience with the care of the animals (birds, rats, rabbits, dogs, cats, etc.). Where is the best place to start would be for me? Maybe an internship (which were widely reported in a nursing home)?

This is another question. I am allergic to cats significantly, which means to be a partner, does not bother me much, but cleaning up after my cats chest pain breathing problems (do not worry, it is never dangerous or anything) else. Are there ways around this drug allergy / s, immunizations, either (I have tried with a paper mask, which is not useful at all)?
